About Harford Counseling

Jennifer Redding, LCSW-C
Executive Director

Jennifer Redding, LCSW-C has been working in the fields of mental health and addiction for over 12 years. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and her Master of Social Work Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Ms. Redding has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, residential, a non-public school setting, non-profit, and private practice. Ms. Redding has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in each of these settings. While Ms. Redding has a broad clinical experience base, she specializes in working with those who are coping with addiction, dual diagnosis and/or trauma issues. Ms. Redding has been the Director of Family & Children's Services in Harford County for the past four years, overseeing the Trauma-Based Treatment Center. Ms. Redding is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced based practice found extremely effective in providing relief and healing for those suffering with addiction and trauma.

Ms. Redding created Harford Counseling in July 2009 as a way to provide quality, evidenced-based treatment to those dealing with addiction, mental health issues or a combination of both.

Amy Wagner, LCSW-C
Clinical Director

Amy Wagner, LCSW-C received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Liberty University and her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland. Throughout her 20+ year career in the mental health field, Ms. Wagner has worked in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, schools, non-profit organizations and most recently in private practice. She has experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups that span all age categories. While, Ms. Wagner's career has gained her experience in a wide range of mental health areas, her expertise lies in the field of trauma. She has been trained in many areas of trauma work including the well-known technique of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Ms. Wagner recently completed training for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a treatment technique used to work with children ages 2-7 who are behaviorally acting out in the home and/or daycare setting.

Ms. Wagner has been the Clinical Supervisor for the past two years at Family & Children's Services in Harford County. Prior to this, Ms. Wagner worked in a private practice setting in Baltimore, MD for 12 years.

Jacqueline Stilling, N.C.C., L.C.P.C.

Jackie Stilling holds an M.S. Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. Her B.A. in English is from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. It was in Salt Lake that Jackie first began working with teens and their families in a high school setting. She has worked with children and families in various settings for over 15 years.

Jackie Stilling is trained in both Active Parenting and Play Therapy. Her expertise is in working with couples and families on various topics including parenting skills training. Most of her experience has involved serving children, adolescents and their families with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns through individual, group and family therapy. Jackie has had the opportunity to serve children and their families through community mental health agencies and school systems. She enjoys working with individuals but her vast experience working with families has convinced her of the importance of bringing the family together in therapy.

Carrie Carlevaro, LCSW-C

Carrie Carlevaro has over 12 years clinical experience treating families, adults, and children. Ms. Carlevaro's area of expertise is in working with families in crisis, families dealing with custody/divorce issues, domestic violence and other trauma. Ms. Carlevaro obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Towson University and her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. Ms. Carlevaro is a certified mediator with an expertise in disputed child custody matters.

Ms. Carlevaro has worked in a variety of settings, but a majority of her work has been in a private practice setting, the Office of Family Court Services in Harford County, and Sexual Abuse/Spouse Abuse Resource Center (SARC).

Linda Fritch, LCSW-C

Linda Fritch is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. She received a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.

Linda Fritch is comfortable working with clients in all age ranges. Linda treats individuals and families with a focus on children, teens and their families. She work with clients and families struggling with trauma, grief, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attachment Disorder, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, self esteem issues, social skills and family conflicts. Linda uses a variety of techniques including, attachment therapy, behavior modification, cognitive behavioral, family systems, play therapy and relaxation techniques. Treatment modalities are based on client needs.

Linda Fritch has worked as a clinician in the state of Maryland for the past 10 years. She began her career providing school based counseling for Key Point Health System and continues to act as supervisor for this program in Harford County.

Katie Badders, LCSW-C

Katie Badders is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson University and her Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland School of Social Work. Ms. Badders previously was the coordinator for the Harford County Neighborhood Youth Panel and is currently working with the Office of Drug Control Policy to implement a youth peer court program in Harford County. In addition, she assisted in the development of a life choice awareness and alcohol and drug education program for adolescents.

During her counseling career, Ms. Badders has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. She has worked in multiple settings, including: an inpatient psychiatric unit, inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers, and a non-public school serving students with emotional and behavioral disturbances. She works with youth and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of challenges including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant and conduct disorders, and schizophrenia. Ms. Badders provides an array of clinical services including psychotherapy, anger management, relaxation training, social skills training, addiction counseling, and grief counseling. She individualizes her approach to suit the needs of each of her clients sometimes utilizing creative materials including the use of pets, cinema, art, music, and game playing.
